TelescopeWiki exists to help readers make confident buying decisions. This policy explains the standards that govern our work.
Independence
Our editorial team has full control over what we cover and recommend. No advertiser, affiliate partner or brand can buy coverage, influence our rankings or alter a verdict. Sponsored content, when it exists, is clearly labeled and kept separate from our reviews.
Evidence and sourcing
We base recommendations on published specifications, the consensus of reputable expert reviewers and verified owner feedback. We prefer verifiable evidence over unsupported claims and never fabricate credentials, results or endorsements.
Accuracy and corrections
When we make a factual error, we correct it promptly. If you believe something is inaccurate, please contact us.
Separation of editorial and commerce
TelescopeWiki earns commissions when readers buy through our links, but the presence or size of a commission never determines whether or how highly we recommend a product. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Author expertise
Guides are written and edited by the TelescopeWiki editorial team. We do not claim credentials or testing we have not done. To learn how we evaluate products, read How We Test and Research.
